Hi! My name is Ashley, and I am so glad that you are here! My prayer is that as I share my journey, the Lord uses it to encourage and inspire you as you fight the good fight as well.
How it all began…
I began my journey to the Dominican Republic in 2016 when I came on my first mission trip. From there, the Lord opened many doors and provided in mighty ways for me to continue returning to the island, and then become a missionary for two years. I married a Dominican who is the man of my prayers, and we are planted here. We are both passionate about the Word of God and discipleship.
A few of my interests…
I enjoy spending time with Jesus, coming up with new recipes, exercise, playing games, sweet time with my husband and pup, and worship. My brain is often in a state of confusion as I speak a lot of Spanglish and am learning how to be a wife and adult in a culture that I am still learning about.
The purpose and prayer for this blog…
My desire is that through the things I share, that God would light a passion in you for the Word of God, encourage you in your faith walk, and give you urgency to share the Gospel of Christ to this broken world.
